Our Story

Hi, my names Greg, owner of GW’s Woodwork.

I started off as a Chef many years ago and I found woodwork as hobby. when My Fiancé and I found out we were expecting our first child, I started to sell my woodworking as a way to help bring in money for savings and so GW’s Woodwork was born! I started selling locally and found it quite successful however I soon realised that I would like to do it full time, where I could also be at home to support my family.

All the products you see on this site are all handmade to order ensuring quality in each build. I am currently my only employee and I work from the shed in my garden. All product photo’s taken are either taken by myself or by my Fiancée and are taken in the gardens and homes of family and friends, I believe this shows the products in their intended use and in real world environments and what they may look in your gardens and homes.

All my timber is sourced from reputable local suppliers which are sustainably sourced. All the reclaimed wood is sourced by myself, family and friends from my local area and is typically pallet wood unless I manage to find anything else on my travels, in this case, it will be written in the product description.
